* supermode functionality
supermode is different approach to manage
camera parameters by attached additional
functionality layer which is not available in
original driver. this may sound as complication
but in skilled hands can be a great solution.
function offers to you manual control over
selected camera parameter - you can set
specific value or bring back automatic state of
parameter if you changed your mind. thanks
to additional functionality layer the phone is more
like digital camera, not just a simple camera
phone
when you open the camera it is in fine tuned
automatic mode which means that:
1. YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE functions, use
them only if you want
2. camera is still good POINT & SHOT solution
3. all parameters are automatic unless some of
them won't be changed manually
* how to use?
1. to select function you have to use joystick
left/right (phone in horizontal position).
functions are connected to EV positions
(steps from -2.0 to +2.0) you can find list of
all positions below. notice that original EV
functionality is now a supermode function at
position +0.3
2. use zoom +/- or 3/6 keys to alter value of
selected function
you can use values from 0 to 30
value 0 for all functions is like command "go
to auto/neutral/default mode" which means
that all changes in selected function will be
cancelled. some functions can use all 30
values while other functions can use much
less range
* special modes for low light conditions
- short enhanced mode (SEM)
- enhanced mode (EM)
this modes are special modes which can
dramatically improve picture quality in low light
or
even in very bad light conditions. how?
algorithm will calculate how long must be
exposure
time to achieve the best visual effect for ISO
100 sensitivity. the only thing which you have
to do is to hold the camera still in your hand
or put the camera on stable base to avoid blur.
SEM is faster version of EM but cannot see as
much details as EM can
meaning of this modes used together with
flash is a bit different. SEM is ISO 100 mode while
EM is ISO 200 mode. they can be used to
improve portrait photos (better tones and details)
NEW! since v6.4
modes are not fixed to ISO 100 only. you can
use them with manual ISO function!
NEW! since v6.5
new hybrid versions of modes ensure a
compromise between ISO and exposure time
hybrid modes doesn't work with flash and do
not use manual ISO
* Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) assistant
it's not a real AEB like in digital cameras
because several successive shots at once cannot
be done. in spite of this inconvenience
assistant is still good facilitation for all
amateurs of HDR photography. that's because
of 2 simplifications:
- no need to change EV manually
assistant automatically changes value of EV
after every taken photo
- no need to use autofocus for every photo
assistant remembers position of focus
from 1st photo and use it in next photos.
of course it's possible to use manual focus
instead of autofocus
to enable assistant, follow the steps below:
1. go to function of AEB assistant
2. set EV step
3. set initial EV value with joystick left/right
to turn off assistant just set EV step to 0 at any
time
example EV values for most useful sequences:
* initial EV = -2.0, step = 1.0: -2.0, -1.0, 0.0,
+1.0, +2.0
* initial EV = -2.0, step = 2.0: -2.0, 0.0,

after crossing +2.0 assistant is turned off and

* Custom White Balance
CWB function helps to create more realistic
colors if selected WB is unable to find proper
color balance. to use CWB, follow the steps
below
1. point camera at all white/gray surface, fill
whole display
2. start Custom WB and wait some seconds
for colors stabilization
3. lock WB
WB will be locked all the time until you won't
unlock it or restart the camera

- color balance functions: cyan - red, yellow -
blue
- combined color balance functions: green -
magenta, orange - light blue
- manual focus close-up preview on/off on
demand (half press and release)
- manual shutter speed and ISO realtime
preview on/off on demand (half press and
release)

landscape scene
- increased sharpness in all scenes and max
sharpness for macro

value 0 for all functions is like command "go
to auto/neutral/default mode" which means
that all changes in selected function will be
cancelled. some functions can use all 30
values while other functions can use much
less range
* special modes for low light conditions
- short enhanced mode (SEM)
- enhanced mode (EM)
this modes are special modes which can
dramatically improve picture quality in low light
or
even in very bad light conditions. how?
algorithm will calculate how long must be
exposure
time to achieve the best visual effect for ISO
100 sensitivity. the only thing which you have
to do is to hold the camera still in your hand
or put the camera on stable base to avoid blur.
SEM is faster version of EM but cannot see as
much details as EM can
meaning of this modes used together with
flash is a bit different. SEM is ISO 100 mode while
EM is ISO 200 mode. they can be used to
improve portrait photos (better tones and details)
NEW! since v6.4
modes are not fixed to ISO 100 only. you can
use them with manual ISO function!
NEW! since v6.5
new hybrid versions of modes ensure a
compromise between ISO and exposure time
hybrid modes doesn't work with flash and do
not use manual ISO
* Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) assistant
it's not a real AEB like in digital cameras
because several successive shots at once cannot
be done. in spite of this inconvenience
assistant is still good facilitation for all
amateurs of HDR photography. that's because
of 2 simplifications:
- no need to change EV manually
assistant automatically changes value of EV
after every taken photo
- no need to use autofocus for every photo
assistant remembers position of focus
from 1st photo and use it in next photos.
of course it's possible to use manual focus
instead of autofocus
to enable assistant, follow the steps below:
1. go to function of AEB assistant
2. set EV step
3. set initial EV value with joystick left/right
to turn off assistant just set EV step to 0 at any
time
example EV values for most useful sequences:
* initial EV = -2.0, step = 1.0: -2.0, -1.0, 0.0,
+1.0, +2.0
* initial EV = -2.0, step = 2.0: -2.0, 0.0,
+2.0
after crossing +2.0 assistant is turned off and
exposure returns to default settings.
assistant do not work with SEM, EM, hybrids,
manual shutter speed and AE lock!
* Custom White Balance
CWB function helps to create more realistic
colors if selected WB is unable to find proper
color balance. to use CWB, follow the steps
below
1. point camera at all white/gray surface, fill
whole display
2. start Custom WB and wait some seconds
for colors stabilization
3. lock WB
WB will be locked all the time until you won't
unlock it or restart the camera
* other
- color balance functions: cyan - red, yellow -
blue
- combined color balance functions: green -
magenta, orange - light blue
- manual focus close-up preview on/off on
demand (half press and release)
- manual shutter speed and ISO realtime
preview on/off on demand (half press and
release)
- Auto Exposure (AE) lock function
you can lock AE even with focus infinity or in
landscape scene
- increased sharpness in all scenes and max
sharpness for macro
- increased colors saturation (separate colors
saturation for flash)
- ISO 125 for macro flash shot
- increased % of jpeg quality (normal, fine and
BestPic)
- forced flash while red eye reduction (RER)
option is enabled
- increased video frames per second
normal = 24, night = 10
notice that high fps will make zoom keys
much less responsive!

Para que contar com diversos gigabytes de espaço em seu HD se apenas 96 kb já são suficientes para criar um belo jogo de tiro em 3D? Não que ele vá desbancar os grandes títulos da atualidade, mas Kkrieger consegue essa façanha com muito bom gosto.
Trata-se de um jogo premiado na Alemanha pelo seu feito curioso. Além de contar com 5 armas diferentes, diversos inimigos e até efeitos de luz, o game apresenta gráficos muito bons (para seu tamanho, claro).

Ao invés de subtítulos demoníacos, a frase de impacto adotada por Kkrieger é exatamente esta: “um jogo em 96 kb”. Ele não fica devendo em praticamente nenhum aspecto para os primeiros jogos 3D e, mesmo atualmente, apresenta gráficos superiores a alguns games. Todos os cenários, armas, inimigos e animações são em três dimensões e esbanjam criatividade.
Claro que o jogo está longe de ser perfeito e, segundo seus desenvolvedores uma versão final ainda está por vir. É possível que o jogador se depare com diversos bugs ou se incomode com a ausência de explosões e corpos de inimigos. Mas isso não tira do Kkrieger o título de menor FPS do mundo (ao menos o de menor com uma qualidade aceitável).
Como se pode observar no vídeo acima, o jogo rende menos de 10 minutos de gameplay para quem já tem alguma prática no gênero. Não se engane com as dimensões do jogo. Embora ele ocupe menos de 100 kb em disco, nem toda placa de vídeo suporta o game.

Seal Online: Eternal Destiny
A desenvolvedora YNK Interactive anunciou o novo cliente do jogo Seal Online. Ele se chama Eternal Destiny e vai substituir o cliente anterior, chamado Evolution.
Segundo os desenvolvedores, Eternal Destiny tem tudo o que os jogadores gostam na franquia, mas com novos atrativos que aprimoram a jogabilidade e também o conteúdo do game de maneira geral.
O jogo é descrito como “o primeiro MMORPG do mundo que dá aos usuários a opção de visualizar seus jogos com uma técnica de renderização baseada em cartoons”. O game tem como pano de fundo uma história no estilo conto de fadas.
Plano de fundo
Monstros são os principais habitantes do mundo de Seal Online, onde os jogadores controlam seus próprios personagens e sobem de nível durante a jornada, com o diferencial de não haver um nível máximo para se alcançar. As habilidades melhoram através de pontos. A cada subida de nível, os jogadores recebem skill points e status points, os quais podem ser usados para fortalecer seu personagem.
É possível escolher entre ser um cavaleiro, um guerreiro, um mágico ou um bobo, uma classe exclusiva de Seal. Um destaque da jogabilidade é o Seal Party System. Quando seis personagens juntam forças, eles impõem respeito e não precisam temer nenhum monstro que aparecer.
Seal Online é até considerado por alguns um jogo de aventura, seguindo situações cotidianas em sua trama. Ele não se concentra em confrontos entre os jogadores, mas sim em combates contra os montros que habitam o planeta. Quanto maior for o nível do jogador, melhores são suas armas, e maiores são as chances dele de enfrentar um monstro muito mais forte.
O jogador pode aprender habilidades para trocar, abrir ou unir-se a grupos após completar uma jornada. Também é possível abrir uma sala para conversas, criar partidos para encarar monstros com mais eficiência, abrir uma conta dentro do jogo para guardar ou coletar mais itens e dinheiro, criar um animal de estimação, pescar, etc.
Classes
Eternal Destiny começa com seis classes à sua escolha. Em um segundo estágio, elas passam por um upgrade e, a partir daí, cada classe oferece dois caminhos para o jogador escolher entre um deles.
Knight (Cavaleiro): uma classe para defesa, especializada em espadas e escudos. Os pontos de status são distribuídos entre força e agilidade.
Warrior (Guerreiro): uma classe poderosa para combates. Os guerreiros podem usar espadas nas duas mãos para causar grandes danos aos inimigos. Os pontos de status também são exibidos entre força e agilidade.
Mage (Mágico): devoto da mágica ofensiva, os mágicos possuem defesas limitadas, mas ataques poderosos. Para melhorar suas habilidades, eles estão focados em inteligência e sabedoria.
Priest (Pastor): uma classe versátil, especializada em ataques físicos e psicológicos e também na cura. Eles são leais aos ensinamentos sagrados e vivem em servidão aos deuses de Shiltz. Força, inteligência e sabedoria são importantes para eles.
Jester (Bobo): semelhantes a ladrões em outros jogos, os bobos usam uma adaga como arma ou jogam dardos. Eles usam força e um pouco de agilidade e inteligência.
Craftsman (Artesão): eles podem criar fortes itens e refiná-los. Se necessário, um artesão pode defender a si mesmo de criaturas com as ferramentas que ele usa, como chaves. Inteligência e sabedoria são utilizados em seus trabalhos.
Atrativos do game
Os jogadores compartilham informações pessoais dentro do seu perfil. O objetivo é deixar o jogo com mais cara de comunidade.
Os jogadores podem facilmente se juntar a grupos em um sistema que facilita a formação deles. O sistema de partidas em grupo é localizado na interface do jogo. Além disso, é possível chamar amigos de outros servidores para formar grupos e enfrentar monstros mais difíceis.Há também o sistema de nivelamento de pares, que permite a dois jogadores ganharem roupas, prêmios e presentes quando jogarem juntos.
Antes de enfrentar monstros para valer, jogadores podem se enfrentar em uma arena especial. É o modo PVPing, que os ajuda a descobrir suas reais capacidades antes de colocá-las à prova.
Armas e armaduras podem ser aprimoradas através de um sistema especial de manipulação. Os monstros, quando eliminados, disponibilizam objetos que você pode utilizar a fim de melhorar seu equipamento com habilidades e efeitos. Outra possibilidade é se transformar em diferentes criaturas.
Há ainda uma variedade de bichos que podem ser domesticados. Ao encontrar um, você pode alimentá-lo, vê-lo crescer e evoluir. A jogabilidade é bastante aprimorada com um animal de estimação.

Seal Online oferece o Xfire, aplicativo que auxilia a comunicação entre gamers com a troca de mensagens instantâneas. Ele também proporciona outras facilidades como a detecção de amigos online.
